With 2016 in the here and now, so starts the festivities around the 50th anniversary of Star Trek.
So far, the biggest known news is the release of the third movie, re-booted in the Abramsverse, Star Trek Beyond. Check out the trailer http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/paramount/startrekbeyond/
No doubt, as Fall gets closer, fans and media alike, will remind the world about the first episode of the Original Series, The Man Trap, aired on NBC, September 8th, 1966. Be sure to stay tuned for a television/cable special or two.
As for my new game, nothing has been announced, http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news but the year is merely a few hours old, at the time of this posting. However, I have this funny feeling our friends at STO wouldn't turn a blind eye at this occasion, so stay tuned for specials, events and giveaways. If I find out of any of these, be sure I will post the details and links (when possible) as soon as I can.
